Time management is a very important attribute you need to possess as a disciplined individual, because lack of proper time management can lead to a lot of unfinished projects.

The importance of deliberate time management cannot be over emphasized. Businesses work with time. In fact it is an important element in planning


In proper project planning, time remains one of the most sensitive factors that must be considered for the success and completion of the project.


Time management is very essential in our daily routine. It helps us to perform bunches of tangible tasks even with the limited time given.


This is because priorities are given to relevant things , and the given time is being appropriately managed rather than misusing or miss managing the time.


Everyone is given an equal Chance of 24 hours a day, but it seems, that is not long enough. Many achieve so much in a day  while some achieve little.


It is not about how much time we have at our disposal, but it is how we manage the time that determines what we can achieve.


What is Time?

According to the English dictionary, time can be defined as " The inevitable Progression into the future.it is the gap between the past and the present".

Time management is an essential and profitable skill that can drive our achievement to the next level. It determines the hugeness of our results.


These few tips will help you manage your time and acquire something tangible no matter how limited the time might be.


1.Create a Todo-list

A Todo-list is a piece of document that contains a list of tasks or activities that are to be carried out. It can be for an hourly, daily or weekly routine.


This list will help you have in mind things that are to be done, when they are to be done. It will also help you plan your day.


Now  as far as time management is concerned, limiting your Todo-list to a list of tasks that are to be performed and when to carry out this task is not enough.


For proper time management, time or duration should be assigned to each of the tasks.


For example if you have added visitation on your to-do list, then you should decide the amount of time you are going to spend while visiting. 


With this you will be able to manage your time appropriately.


2.Responding To Duty on Time

Punctuality is very essential as far as time management is concerned. For you to be able to meet with your daily task, then you must ensure that you embrace each task at their own appropriate time.


When you start on time, you will be able to manage the available time assigned to you.


3.Give Attention To Relevance Alone

This point is not against you having fun or creating time to play,but there should be time for everything.

It amazes me when I see people spend most of their time on things that don't add value to their business, career or profession.


This is a total waste of time and resources. Our time should be dedicated to things that are really relevant to us.


4.Do not really give Chance for interference .

What I mean by this is that we should stick to our initial plans for the day. Do not let anything interfere with what you have planned to do for the day.


This doesn't mean you should not be flexible, but if there should be a shift or any form of adjustment in your  initial plan , ensure it is something really tangible, necessary and relevant to you.


Conclusion

Time is one of the most essential precious resources given to mankind. Time lost can not be recovered, hence it is expedient that we manage our time properly.
