Top alcoholic drinks or beverages are quite very expensive, and if you want to consume more, it means you are going to spend more. Be content with a moderate quantity of alcohol and drink responsibly to save your money.


2. It Destroys Your Health

Another negative impact alcohol has on you is that it destroys and causes more harm than good to your body system, excessive alcohol use can lead to the development of chronic diseases and other serious problems.

  • High blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, liver disease, and digestive problems.

  • Cancer of the breast, mouth, throat, esophagus, voice box, liver, colon, and rectum.

  • Weakening of the immune system, increasing the chances of getting sick.

  • Learning and memory problems, including dementia and poor school performance.

  • Mental health problems, including depression and anxiety.

Excessive intake of alcohol can make you lose your dignity as a man or woman.You cannot Command Respect if you are always getting drunk with alcoholic beverages or drinks. You will definitely lose dignity, self respect and people around you may not have regards for you.

Responsible people hardly get drunk with wine. If you keep on being addicted and consuming too much of alcohol, you will eventually end up having refracts and irresponsible fellows as your friends.


Who should abstain completely from alcohol?


Alcohol may be nice to chill with while having a fun moment or celebration with family , friends and colleagues. However,there are some people who are advised to stay completely away from alcohol.

  • Pregnant women or those expecting pregnancy

  • Full timer drivers or those participating in driving

  • Those Taking certain prescription or over-the-counter medications that can interact with alcohol.

  • Patients Suffering from Certain Medical conditions.

  • Those Recovering from alcoholism or are unable to control the amount they drink.


What then is the moderate intake for alcohol ?


According to Centers for  Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ,adults of legal drinking age can choose not to drink, or to drink in moderation by limiting intake to 2 drinks(bottles) or less in a day for men, or 1 drink or less in a day for women, on days when alcohol is consumed.
